Dirt track tires help and ideas
« on: April 27, 2010, 11:07:31 PM »
This one i know will be a hit and miss, but, here we will keep each other informed of what tires we are having good luck with, how long they last, and what you recommend as well with explaining track conditions and type for each tire to help each other out quite a bit. I know tires will vary from heat to feature as well as dry slick or tacky. temp changes outside can also effect these as well. I know it sounds like a lot of info just for tires, but, i have found threw the years, it really does make a difference.

Start posting your recommendations on tires and everything about them.

I use stinger's but there only good for a tacky track. i'm still trying to figure out the best tires for a dry slick track.

i have found that generals are the best bang for the buck. i will have to get the number off of them but i beleive there called exlaims or something like that. they get good bite on dryslick without burning up. the run best near the end of a long run too so the do better under heat.
