Newbie, lol!
« on: August 10, 2010, 11:31:01 PM »
Lowetgt here, Just wanted to say hi to all on this site, I just became aware of it and see many familiars!  I sport a '91 EGT with an LX shell.  I suppose I am best known for the custom crap I do.  I offer grills for the 2nd Gen Escorts.  Hope to make another set of lights for someone one day.  Want to be a help; I'll check the site out!

Welcome Jer! I like it here, no drama, but we need more people to complete the circle! I wish Joel would sign up but he said he's done with Forums for a while.

Yeah i would be cool to get Joel, well keep bugging him and he may come over. Also if ya know anyone that is seriously into cars the way we are and has one of them in the list get them to join. The basic theme this forum has is interchangeability. For instance, all the cars come equipped with a Zetec or Duratec engine, then of those some share the same platform such as the second and third generation escorts and tracer are built on the BG platform, but the focus and zx2 share the same engine and so forth. So that's the reasoning behind my list of supported cars lol.

Well the Taurus and Cougar both came equipped with a Duratec. The cougar, contour and focus all used the MTX-75 transmission. The Cougar and Contour both used a 2.5 Duratec V6.

Thanks bud!  They are 17 X & Enkei RS5 rims.  With a 38 or 42 offset, I can't remember anymore.

I will have to get a set for a project car i'm doing. They remind me of the Focus SVT rims.
