New world's fastest supercar

Ok so it is on.  the worlds fastest supercar title is no longer in the USA.  it right now is being held by this car:

the new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 super sport.  this quad turbo V-16 powerplant putting down 1184 HP-1106 lbs ft of torque, with a price tag of 2.1 million dollars.  this car now holds the record of 268 MPH.

it used to be held by this piece of supercar beauty:

the Shelby supercars Ultima Aero a 1180 HP-1094 lbs of torque twin turbo Chevy V-8, 740,000 dollar car that does 0-60 MPH in a blistering 2.78 sec.  and used to hold the world record of 260 mph.  and yes you cant see it very well but those are all carbon fiber wheels.  it still holds as being the most powerful produstion car in the world.

Not all that pretty, I bet the Ford GT would kick its ass if Ford actually got motivated.

Here is a twin turbo Ford GT that ran 266. All it needs is 2 more mph.

You should look up Joe's Ford GT-TT. Pretty intense for a GT.

i agree with ya jj the gt would be a much bigger killer.  the sad thing is ford would have to put that car with everyhting in it into production to compete with the other 2 cars.  although it would be possible.  and as i was reading through all the stuff on the bugatti.  the damn thing weighs almost 5000 lbs.  the ultima aero weight wasnt released.

ok also jj watched thie vid again cause i just woke up and that car did its speed in a standing mile.  the bugatti and ultima aero did this on like a bonneville styled run.  they had like 5 miles to do this in.  so technically speaking the gt would easily be the victor.
