WARNING THIS WILL MAKE ALOT OF SAUCE YOU MAY NEED TO SCALE THIS DOWN

ok so im putting up my recipe for my homemade bbq sauce.  it is a sweeter styled sauce but still has a slight bite to it.

ingrediants

1 12 oz. can of Dr. pepper
1.5 cups of ketchup
1.25 cups of chopped onions (optional)
.25 cups cider vinegar
.5 cups of worcestershire suace
1 cup white vinegar
3 tblsp butter
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tsp. sugar ( can sub for brown sugar)
2 tsp salt (i use kosher salt but you can use any salt)
.5 tsp fresh ground black pepper
2 tsp. cayenne pepper powder
a few dashes of hot sauce (your choice i use louisianna haot suace)
Honey use to taste

put in large pot and combine all ingrediants and bring to a boil.  after it starts to boil set to simmer and cover for 45  min. to an hour  or until it starts to get thick.  then let cool and use.  can be frozen where it will turn to a gel form.  will last in the fridge for a while.  i had one batch last 6 months before i had to throw it out.

please use and let me know if you like it.

trust me you'll like it.  the honey is a little odd if you want it sweeter you'll need to add quite a bit.  but its up to the person making it.
